AHH’s Service beyond the Home

AHH’s Service beyond the Home

It is a regular feature of the Home to care for the children of the neighbourhood, especially for their education. They are provided with study materials, dress, and special foods so that they can attend the school without any difficulty.
These children are supported to pursue their school education from the atmosphere of their own families. They are invited to the Home on special occasions and encouraged to partake of the festivities and meals. The malnourished parents of the children in the neighbourhood are also looked after with food and cloth materials.
AHH has embarked upon supporting the higher education of girl and boy students, hailing from economically poor and socially discriminated background. A total of 12 students have been enrolled in Rasi College, Vysnava College, Sri Balaji College of Nursing and Ewart CSI Women’s College for various Bachelor’s Degree Programmes.
Majority of them stay at their own houses, four of them are staying in hostels and five college students are staying in the Home, while pursuing their studies with the financial support offered by AHH. They will be supported until they get settled in their life.
